Headdy arrives in North Town to find that the evil puppet King Dark Demon is in the midst of attacking the puppet town to select which of the peaceful toys should be scrapped and which should be converted into his evil minions. Headdy is captured and rejected by Dark Demon's forces, and is dropped into the dust cargo to be thrown into the incinerator. However, Headdy escapes the clutches of Dark Demon's minions and sets off to defeat the evil king. However, not only is the puppet world filled with Dark Demon's minions, but to reach the evil overlord's castle, Headdy must defeat Dark Demon's Keymasters who serve as the king's elite guard. To make matters worse, Headdy is followed by Trouble Bruin, a puppet jealous of Headdy's success. Trouble Bruin wants to be the star instead of Headdy, and will stop at nothing to get rid of him.

Dynamite Headdy is a 1994 action-platformer developed by Treasure and published by Sega. It was originally released for the Sega Genesis, Sega Game Gear, and Sega Master System. The main character, a puppet named Headdy, can throw his head at enemies to defeat them and use it to pull himself to various areas and move objects. The player can find a wide variety of heads which act as power-ups that provide different effects and alter gameplay.

There are significant differences between the Japanese and American version of the game. In the localized version, some enemies have a different palette, and sometimes an entirely different sprite; bosses' health was doubled; player starts with no continues, as opposed to two continues in the original; names of all characters except Headdy and Dark Demon were changed; all level names were changed; most importantly, the entire plot is completely absent from the American version, with all dialogues removed, except for tutorial, which still got cut down; the ending was changed too.

In this playthrough, I try to get all items and secrets, I also get the secret boss battle at the end. There are 39 Secret Bonus Points in this game. I get 40 using a glitch. Sometimes I had to draw some fights and levels out because either it's what you are supposed to do in order to get a bonus, or I wanted to show all attacks/animations. At the end, I show extra stuff that didn't make it into the playthrough, like alternative paths, deaths and music that gets cut out too early in the game. -

Story

Time passes since the events of Valis and Vecanti is set to rule under its next emperor after Rogles. This new emperor, Megas, wishes to stamp out any trace of the former tyrant, to the point of murdering any supporters Rogles might have had. Furthermore, his bloodthirsty tendencies recognize Yuko and the Valis sword as viable threats to his claim of the throne, and he targets his minions to eliminate her first before she has the chance to thwart him.

Well this is Syd of valis originally named Valis SD (SuperDeformed Version of Valis II) .......OK,then why is her name SYD? Someone was smoking something when they translated this game. Lazyness i supposed. The conrtols are so sensitive you slide everywhere, making it hard to dodge enemy fire. Once again Enjoy! -

Hmmm let's me get this straight, A cliche highschool girl (Yuko Asho) with a "Magic Sword"(Sword of Valis) fighting monsters......HOW AWSOME IS THAT?...ok it's not that awsome but,This is where i got my handle name from. An action sidescrolling game that many people overlooked. It spawned many sequels and ports on various consoles. Be warned! LOOONG CUTSCENES. Many people don't like them it's no wonder we can't have good things. Ok im done talking, just watch the video! -

Didn't throw much garbage at the start since I thought its limited but apprently it's not. I like the design of this the characters look like the cartoon versions and like how the other two remain behind you. Krum is pretty useless here though. -

Released only in Japanese region. This longplay has been played on 'Crazy' Difficulty and well, it is exactly that! I Have tried to show all weapons powered to maximum although I always seem to choose the wrong weapon for the boss fights ahead. I'm not really sure what all the rpg style level upgrading is all about as it doesnt have a huge effect durring gameplay apart from agility and powerup level that I noticed.

Collecting the fairies normal grants some random powerup but I dont think they were awarding me anything on this difficulty level.

The game has been fan translated to english by by M.I.J.E.T. -

Alternate longplay of this fine shootemup played on Hard difficulty to show the proper ending message.

The choice of 3 specific weapons at any time is a nice twist compared with most of the other shootemups on the platform.

I recorded the Mini-Game at the end. Just seems to be a quick score attack game and the outcome has no effect on the main game. -

Thought i'd check this version out to see how different it was from the amiga version.

For starters the sfx aren't nearly as nice as the amiga version, most of them don't even sound similar or are just missing. Music seems mostly the same but never went through amiga version with the music on. Being able to have music and sfx though is a bonus over amiga version.

Something was naggin me on the 2nd level and had to go back to check amiga version and realise the layout of it had been completly changed and made easier for the mega drive version. Also small things had changed like not needing to stir the food for the frog or being able to kill the annoying speed blob things.

Other than the differences throughout are minor. Would of liked an intro like the CD32 version though. -

Altered Beast is a 1988 beat 'em up arcade game developed and manufactured by Sega. The game is set in Ancient Greece, and follows a centurion who is resurrected by Zeus to rescue his daughter Athena, and to do so becomes able to turn into beasts such as the werewolf with the use of power-ups. After its initial arcade release, it was ported to several home video game consoles and home computers, most notably the Sega Mega Drive and Sega Genesis for which it was a pack-in game. This ultimately led to the Sega Genesis being shipped with
Sonic the Hedgehog instead. The primary designer was Makoto Uchida, also responsible for the creation of Golden Axe.

RISE FROM YOUR GRAVE!!! WELCOME TO YOUR DOOM!!! This is a classic, done as a single player experience unlike the 2 players done by Smoke Frostheart, it's a short game. -

I didn't like this version of the game. The game's hit detection is a bit off with some attacks mainly the enemy's fire, so it looks like im hit but it doesnt actually kill me. The final boss's spikes also cannot kill you for some reason.

I edited out my deaths since you have to begin the level from the start. Worst part of the game would be the one music track throughout most of the entire game. -

Alright, Ive made you guys wait long enough. Finally I get into a game with a morpher. Seeing as UMKIII was pretty well received, and alot of positive feedback, here is something for you guys to sink your teeth into. ^^ I also apologise for MKI, but that has no morpher in it, which limited me to one character only. I sowwie : But this'll make up for it. ENJOY!! Smoke~ -

God, I dont like this one whatsoever, I cant morph into anybody so don't expect any flashy gameplay, just bare bone basics Im afraid. Unlike my UMK3 run, you wont find combos or anything 'decent' in the fatality department, Subby's has been censored. : Anyways, if you can, find a better version, this one isnt so hot -

Run-n-gun game by Konami. Sprite swap of Contra: Hard Corps due to censor in Europe at the time. Plus, robots are just too damn cool at times.

Something about robots and an alien organization and the X-Drive. There be lots of sliding and aliens and pretty [possibly seizurific] explosions.

Plays just like any other Contra game, really. Retains balls-busting difficulty and flipping. Made slightly easier with sliding. Does not retain buff topless men, but, again, robots are just too damn awesome at times! Unlike previous Co--Probotector games, this is a straight-up boss game. One minute, you are in a mid-boss fight...only to get into yet ANOTHER mid-boss fight.

This longplay plays through all of the stages and gets all the endings with little savestate spam (kept deaths intact). Only used a state at times to keep Fa--CX-4's Weapon B and Weapon D (glitch to shoot full-powered Psycho Blaster....whatever the hell it is called) I don't go through the Arena because...I didn't feel like it. -.- Unlike the [boring] Contra: Hard Corp longplay I did, this one uses all characters (initial start was with Ra--CX-1. True ending was with She--CX-2.) All those were just playing through with very little savestate used. -

Golden Axe II is a side-scrolling beat 'em up released for the Sega Mega Drive, it was released on December 26, 1991. It is the home console sequel to the popular game Golden Axe, marking the second game in the series, was only released on the Mega Drive, while the original was released on many other platforms. The game later appeared in Sonic's Ultimate Genesis Collection for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, on June 11, 2007 the title was added to the Wii Virtual Console. It is also available on GameTap and iTunes.

Sonic the Hedgehog 3 & Knuckles (or simply Sonic 3 & Knuckles or Sonic 3 Complete Version) is a platform video game which is the result of locking-on Sonic & Knuckles with Sonic the Hedgehog 3 using the former catridge's unique "lock-on" technology. It is essentially a large combined game of its two lock-on components and contains all Zones from the said games and also contains special features unique to this game. This would have been the original Sonic the Hedgehog 3 the developers intended but time constraints by Sega resulted in the game being split into two. -
