Sequel to the Arcade Hit - they improved it quite abit over the original formula, but its still hard as nails!
Namco should be punched in the face, for making you play through this twice and all you get is a lousy text screen! -

This is another Street Fighter clone but it has some flaws, for one the opponents are cheap as all heck and the overkills, well i managed to do one overkill to one opponent which is the highlight of the game. The sound effects are straight from Street Fighter on the Snes. Or theres a Sequel.....better get started with that one. -

Made in 1994 by Konami.

Growing up, I used to watch Animaniacs every weekend - and I loved it!
Hell, my family loved it! The jokes were great, the voices well done and the characters were likeable! I even had the episodes recorded on VHS. (Yes, I lived in a time where VHS and tapes were commonware)

This game lets you take control of the three Warners, Yakko (has a paddleball and is able to push and pull boxes), Wakko (Has a large mallet, which can crush rocks and light bombs) and Dot (Able to infatuate certain targets), trying to collect certain movie props for their shop. However, it's not that easy...

The game has 5 levels, called "Studios", which are split into smaller parts.
There are also secret roulette games, which I show 2 of.

Practice Stage: 1:33
Studio 1 - Bungle In The Jungle: 3:22
Studio 2 - Space Trucking: 11:59
Studio 3 - Remember The A La Mode: 23:48
Studio 4 - To Scream Or Not To Scream: 39:29
Studio 5 - Once There Was A Guy Named Oscar: 47:09
Final Boss: 54:57
Ending: 1:00:43

And yes, I am playing semi-blind in this, meaning I haven't played the game in a long while, and nearly forgot a few parts, like a part in Studio 3 where I do a pretty bad mistake and had to sacrifice a life to try again (Even though I could have walked back a bit, then come back to make it reset. Oops. And I accidentally save stated when I figured out what the hell I did wrong. Double oops.). That, and I used too much time on the 3rd Studio's boss. Sorry in advance!

Anyway, the controls are pretty responsive, and the graphics are in the spirit of the cartoon. The music is cool, and the challenge is pretty hard at times.

Well, good night everybody, and have fun watching the longplay! -

In ancient times, there lived a wealthy family whose heirs were two daughters: Regine and Dahna. These two sisters were born with a strange magic that could enable them to summon the elements and other impossible things; it was this magic that many within the spiritual underworld lusted after, particularly Regine whose powers grew stronger with age.

On Dahna's seventh birthday, the sisters' parents were murdered in a violent kidnapping attempt, but the wreckage separated the sisters and Dahna escaped. Dahna hid in secrecy, but eventually took shelter in a nearby village where she honed her magic and combat abilities under the guidance of the village sorcerer Magh.

Ten years later, a mysterious invasion force led by an evil sorceress attacked her village and kidnapped Magh, prompting Dahna on her first battle. -

My favorite game from Lemmings series. There is already AMIGA longplay of this game and I played SNES port of this game for my Youtube channel. This port is something between of those two ports. Sega port has some levels from SNES port, but most were from original AMIGA port. There is no chainmachine, which is also missing from SNES port. Sega has 50 lemmings in each tribe (AMIGA 60 and SNES 40). There is also few other little differenses, but Im too lazy to list them. I managed to save EVERY lemming on each tribe, except Polar. One poor lemming died at polar 8 level. Very sad...

I also tried some faster solutions. Video is splitted on two parts. Each video includes 6 tribes, starting from Beach and ending to Sports. I also showed all those amazingly long passwords at the end of video after ending. This port also got buch of glitches too. -

This prototype does not have an ending. If you beat the final boss you are stuck on the screen forever until you run out of time/lives. Due to this problem I intentionally lose all lives so I end up fighting him with the last one left. Even after killing him you can still die from touching his hitbox. I use this trick to trigger the GameOver screen and having an end to the Longplay :) -

A game that tortured my childhood. The controls are well-nigh broken and the framerate drags at certain points, making quite an infuriating and confounding gameplay experience. I chose to play as Grant since his control scheme doesn't seem to suck as much as the raptor's and I prefer a nice arsenal of weapons to play with. If you must play a Jurassic Park game on the Genesis, go with Rampage Edition. It rectifies these problems and is a blast to play overall. -

Best and longest of all Dizzy games.
I used all items(I think so),even a coin was used at the end of video.
There is a secret in this game and you need the coin to unlock that secret.
Here is how it works(01:44:56):
1.Get the coin and a cow
2.Give the coin to shopkeeper
3.Give the cow to Prince(works only if you give the coin to shopkeeper)
4.Go to hole and use Prince´s secret sign at water..

Fun facts about this game:
1.Secret doesnt work in Nes and Amiga versions.
2.Rapid part is totally missing from Megadrive version.
3.You dont need to do Bubble Dizzy minigame to get oxygen tool.
4.There is a dead end in this game. Leave a rope to a place where you can only reach with it.
5.Oxygen tool is useless at Bubble game. -

Though there is a Contra: Hard Corps Longplay on the site, it doesn't go for the best ending (well, I classify the rocket fight as the best ending). I decided to do that and then some: show ALL of the stages and endings. Savestates are used so I can pick the different options and in case there are distractions...and no deaths...until I said "Bump it!" after dying on the first and second miniboss in Stage 6B numerous times (first one is just plain unpredictable). The game branches off at 3 points: after Stage 1, after Stage 4, and, sorta, at Stage 7. At Stage 7, you can choose to join with Colonel Bahamut or throwdown with him, leading to the best ending. I have stages marked as "A" and "B" because it is usually different, except for Stage 5 "Fight to the end" selection. That fight is always the same. For Stage 4, if Dead Eye Joe is alive, he will be in the robot.

A shooting game with, surprisingly, no buff men with no shirts (flipping still present, minus Browny, who double jumps). Instead we have a robot with an electric yo-yo, a d00d with some adequate clothing, a chick with LITTLE protection, and a wolfman-doggy-person with a gatling arm. Said to be the toughest of all the Contra games. Heck, the Japanese version is easier, as it has life bars and an extra lives code. Oh, and there are LOTS of bosses in this game. I think shattered Soldier has a lot of bosses as well (only played a bit.) Playing with Sheena since Ax Laser (Weapon D), even though on the weak side, wrecks the game, as well as the Break Laser (Weapon C). Of course, Genocide Vulcan (Weapon A) and Shower Burst (Weapon B) are pretty powerful, too. No Smart Bombing because it rapes everything.

My pick for hardest stage: Alien Lair (BGM is awesome though.)

Stage order as present in the video:
Stage 1 - City
Stage 2A - Highway (Chase Dead Eye Joe)
Stage 2B - Research Center (Rescue the Research Center)
Stage 3 - Junkyard-Arena (Ending)
Stage 3 - Junkyard
Stage 4 - Jungle (Dead Eye Joe edition)
Stage 5A - Space Station (Ending; Chase Dead Eye Joe-Surrender and fight later)
Stage 5B - Military Train (Rescue the Reseaerch Center-Surrender and fight later)
Stage 5C - Doc's Experiments (Fight to the end)
Stage 6A - Bahamut's Alien Lab (Ending; Rescue the Research Center-Surrender and fight later)
Stage 6B - Alien Lair (Ending; Chase Dead Eye Joe-Fight to the end)
Stage 6C - Ocean (Rescue the Research Center-Fight to the end)
Stage 7 - Bahamut's HQ (Ending; join Colonel Bahamut)
Stage 7 - Bahamut's HQ/Rocket Climb (Ending; Refuse)

A "chart":
Chase Dead Eye Joe-Surrender and fight later-
1 - 2A - 3 - 4 - 5A

Chase Dead Eye Joe-Fight to the end-
1 - 2A - 3 - 4 - 5C - 6B

Rescue the Research Center-Surrender and fight later-
1 - 2B - 3 - 4 - 5B - 6A

Rescue the Research Center-Fight to the end-
1 - 2B - 3 - 4 - 5C - 6C - 7 -

This game was a pain at times, but worth it. I was going to go for the infinite Omega sword in the game, but I thought that would make it way too easy so I decided just to stay with the Atomic crossbow instead, its got the same firepower but with worse accuracy. I also hated how near the end I accidently picked up a heart by complete accident if you pick up a heart your stats get better, but your rank goes lower, so instead of getting a super hero rank at the end of the game I got rank 2. -

A few differences from the amiga version mainly the tone down of the graphics and audio. The yellow flowers don't seem to harm you here making it a little easier while the pipes at the end of the level don't tell you which level they go to. Didn't seem to pick up the gun this time so i'm not sure if its in this one. Still don't know what if anything the top hat does. -

In the west Bare Knuckle is known as Streets of Rage
Theres a few difference to the US version:

Axels clothing is the same as in SOR2, rather than that shit edit they did in the US version. Blaze's costume is also red, and Skate's power rating is slightly different, even though it doesn't show it at the character select screen. Shiva's Boss colour configuration is green, but playable he's blue. Plus, Very Hard mode, which is something that isn't present in the US version. Also interesting: Sub Boss 'Ash' was removed from the US version, because he was stereotypically gay XD - also the sprites of the females are alot more revealing in this too, in the US version, they gave them more clothing.

1st playthrough, Character: Axel.
Ending 1
2nd playthrough, Characters: Victy (Roo)
(Beginning stage) Shiva (Stage 2 onward)
Ending 2 -

I'll start by saying I've always liked the NES version of Double Dragon III. The realism and difficulty are exactly what appealed to me about that game and what alienated so many others. Like the previous DD's, I loved the music and also being able to play as the defeated bosses. I'll admit there are some legit gripes about it (the watered-down moveset being my main gripe) and it certainly isn't as good as the first two NES games, but that isn't to say it's TERRIBLE. I never understood why people hate it so adamantly, other than its difficulty, reduced moveset, and the fact that AVGN bashed it (bandwagoners). Anyhoo, stepping off my soapbox, to each his own. :)

This was probably the most accurate port of the arcade version (that I'VE played, leastways). Sadly, it's a port of the absolute worst Double Dragon arcade game so it succeeds for all the wrong reasons. All the problems that plagued the notoriously horrible quarter-muncher were carried over to the Mega Drive. Like the arcade, everything operates on a coin system. Buy weapons with coins, buy special moves with coins, extra players and power-ups with coins, and so on. Even continuing costs a coin so being frugal is necessary if you want to see past the second stage.

If you thought the NES version was hard, play 5 minutes of this and then compare. The game's difficulty is relentless, thanks to cheap and unforgiving A.I. and poor collision detection. You have to be perfectly aligned with your enemies to connect a blow and there also seems to be an abitrary nature to the fighting at certain times. After you knock an enemy down, it seems that they're unassailable for a certain amount of time or until they have hit you back...which means that you're literally trading blows in some fights, which is a problem considering how fast your health diminishes when you get hit. Bosses can kill you in only 4 or 5 hits so you're forced to adopt a hit-and-run style strategy. Be on the move constantly and always try to be the first to land an attack since one hit from them does critical damage. On a higher note, there isn't any noticeable slowdown to speak of so the game runs rather fluidly the whole way through.

The music is a pretty good rendition of the arcade's soundtrack and the punch & kick sound effects actually sound somewhat realistic this time around. You'll be hearing the same enemy death groans over and over, but at least they're a little more coherent in this, rather than sounding like they were run through a blender, as in the first two games.

And, as twice before, there's a 2-player mode should your buddy be as masochistic as you. -

It's almost universally accepted that Double Dragon II was the best Double Dragon game on NES and one of the best fighting games of the 8-bit era, period. While I wholeheartedly agree with both those statements, I can't say the same for the Mega Drive version. In fact, the Mega Drive version of DD II is one of the worst Double Dragon entries yet.

The controls are slightly improved from DD I as far as being responsive, but they're still cumbersome to work with, especially when trying to do your special moves. Your cyclone kick requires precise timing (there was a little more room for error in the NES version) and your jump kick only works if you press the correct attack button depending on which way you're facing (same with DD I). Also, if more than 2 characters occupy the screen at any time, be ready for some abysmal slowdown. Seriously, think severe Brawl lag...it's almost game-breaking at times since it has a direct effect on the timing of your attacks. You'll eventually learn to anticipate these moments and plan your attacks ahead of time, but should you really have to?

Like its predecessor, DD II offers a sparse, but adequate soundtrack. There are also voice samples in the game this time around, but they sound awful, and fighting sound effects remind me of the Commodore 64. Every blow sound the same, whether you're punching, kicking, or using a weapon. I know the Mega Drive wasn't exactly known for it's sound capabilities, but just listening to those recycled, guttural enemy groans and horrid impact samples, I refuse to believe they couldn't have done a better job.

The graphics are very basic, but somewhat reminiscent of the arcade port. Nothing special here. I think the NES version looked better, personally.

You can also go co-op with another player, but the far superior NES version also has that feature. In my opinion, if you own either the NES or PC Engine version of Double Dragon II, you already have the best versions so no need to look further. -

The first of three shoddy arcade conversions of the Double Dragon series on Sega Genesis. While the music and graphics do an adequate job emulating the arcade, the sound effects are pitiful (punches and kicks sound more like menu-selection samples than fighting sounds) and the controls are unresponsive.

Like the arcade (and unlike the NES version), all the moves are already at your disposal when you start the game and pulling them off is simply a matter of combining the punch, kick, or jump buttons. However, the fighting here is extremely choppy and it seems that half the time, your button inputs don't register. Either that or they're extremely delayed, and these problems seem to arise only when you desperately need to fend off your attackers.

Also, connecting a blow is much more of a chore than it should be. I don't know how many times I've pummelled an enemy enough to land the finishing uppercut, only to have the uppercut miss, opening the enemy's attack window back up. I also didn't like the fact that when you beat a wave of enemies and try to move on to the next part of the stage, you practically have to be walking right against the edge of the screen in order for the game to scroll on to the next section. This makes walking blindly into a pitfall or an enemy ambush too common.

As lacking as the game is, there may be some nostalgic appeal to it for some people, and that's probably the only reason to ever pick it up again. Oh yeah, and two players can play together simultaneously this time around. Too bad the game isn't impressive enough for anyone to care. -
